Excellent service. As a new Beekeeper this year, I bought four nucleus colonies from three different suppliers. The nuc from Black Mountain Honey was by far the best of the four in terms of overall quality in my opinion. They are calm well behaved prolific laying bees that are a delight to inspect, which is also easy to do as all the frames are pretty new and in good condition making them easy to manipulate and assess. I would highly recommend them to new beekeepers. I have had two queens from Laurence at BMH too which have reinforced the quality of the service. Keep up the good work Laurence

I can't recommend Black Mountain Honey highly enough. You not only get a super healthy nuc with brand new frames (which is unusual), but access to Laurence's wealth of experience. He's super patient and responds promptly. I've decided to go it alone on my Flow hives journey. Laurence has experience of all types of hive and provide helpful and practical guidance when I hit a road block. Having tried other places I will only ever buy my nucs and queens from BMH. There's a reason they sell out of overwintered nucs so quickly!

I was unable to accept delivery of my nuc on the scheduled date and had to change delivery at fairly short notice . Laurence could not have been more helpful in setting up a new delivery date for me. The customer service at Black Mountain is second to none as is the after sales support. The instructions for setting up the Nuc were detailed and easy to follow , and the bees were wonderfully calm to handle . The NUC arrived exactly on time as notified and the whole process totally stress free. Communication with the company excellent. Will definitely be recommending Black Mountain Honey to my bee keeping association and getting my next queens here. Amazing I couldn't ask for a better service. Delivery of the langstroth nucleus was on time with plenty of notification on time date of delivery. The bee's are so calm not one bit of aggression or stings these bee's from Black Mountain Honey are amazing. And customer service is better than expected from such a busy man thankyou very much Laurence.
